Super Node Problem

#1

Hi there,

I just wanted to check and see, How Cayley deals with the Super node problem ?

Thanks,

Are you interested in something particular?

Cayley is a triple store (or quad store to be precise), thus any supernode is just a large set of links. We do not store all links for an object in one node, if this is what you are asking about. Each link is added separately into an index, so only a total number of links matters.

But if your query tries to traverse via this supernode with no filtering, this will be slow since it may touch a large amount of nodes in the graph. Again, only a number of affected links matters.
