Looking over .6 tags and the PR’s currently open, RethinkDB had an interesting announcement today: https://rethinkdb.com/blog/rethinkdb-shutdown/ although it will still be available and slowly developed this is usually the sign of a project the community will quickly forget.

As a note, contributions to RethinkDB are dropping constantly over time, so it might still be a sign of a project being deprecated.
